The Phoenicians were once one of the richest and most influential ancient Mediterranean societies. Their maritime supremacy endured over centuries, surviving the Bronze Age collapse. Thanks to their maritime trade and legality, they made contact with ancient Egyptians & Assyrians, Archaic Greeks, Hellenic Macedonians, and Republican Romans, Gauls, Iberians, and Britons. Come learn how this long lived and prosperous society got its start - and met its end.
